Cedar Ridge Range Machine Gun Rental Rules & Release

Eff. 5/1/2024

-Cedar Ridge Range (hereinafter “CRR”), staff reserves the right to refuse a firearm rental to any person, for any reason. CRR staff will end any rental session if the shooter acts in any unsafe manner and will be removed from the range without refund.

-Shooting firearms is an inherently dangerous activity and it is ultimately up to the customer to decide if they or those they have guardianship over can competently handle a firearm both physically and mentally.

-All shooters using a rental machine gun (hereinafter “MG”) must weigh at least 100 pounds, have a valid government issued I.D. (or legal guardian present that signed all rules and releases) and correctly follow the commands of CRR staff.

-You will not be issued any refund if you are not capable of safely handling a MG.

-All shooters must successfully complete the CRR rules quiz. All rules apply to firearm rentals.

-All shooters will, at all times, be under the direct supervision of CRR staff when using a MG rental. All shooters will be limited on the number of rounds loaded, style of shooting and target distance.  Your previous experience(s) shooting full auto WILL NOT allow you to circumvent any range rules or CRR staff commands.

CRR staff will in no way tolerate unsafe attitudes and behavior from you or your party and you and your entire party will be removed immediately for displaying such characteristics.

-Each MG has it’s own unique way of functioning and limitations which may require the use of a silencer. You will very probably NOT be doing ‘mag dumps’, shooting without aiming or intentionally overheating firearms. During hot weather, expect delays for the firearm to cool down.

-You will be working with a limited number rounds in the magazine when you begin shooting as determined by CRR Staff (*example on other side).  The ultimate number of rounds in the magazine will be determined by MG type and the shooters’ ability, as evaluated by CRR staff. Only one MG will be fired at one time unless additional CRR staff is available for an additional rental MG fee.

-You will be physically handled by CRR staff to ensure safe handling of the MG.  This includes, but is not limited to, hands on the back/shoulders/hips/arms/hands.

-All ammunition and other required items are included in your MG rental fee, which is by the magazine or belt. While each MG has various capacities, you will get roughly 60 rounds (two magazines) for your initial rental with more rounds being purchased by the magazine, if desired.

-Your target type and distance will be dictated by MG type.

-All shooters must be able to understand and correctly follow all CRR staff commands, which are given in the English language.
